Essential Duties &Key Responsibilities
- Actively enforces safety rules and guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Develops and implements effective training programs for direct reports.
- Communicates expectations, assignments, and responsibilities clearly and professionally.
- Ensures that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements.
- Works to ensure people and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards.
- Must enforce the company’s policies and procedures.
- Engages interest and participation of others and creates a collaborative approach to working together.
- Ensures that the escalation procedure is properly followed, informing of any actual or forecasted issues that may affect production goals, quality levels, and delivery dates.
- Ensures all record‑keeping is completed appropriately and on time.
- Performs First Part Inspection for multiple processes.
- Undertakes continuous training and development.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to lead by example, gain respect from the team, and communicate with clarity whilst demonstrating excellence in approach to work and people activities.
- Is self‑aware, resilient, assertive, and open to change.
- Exercises considerable initiative/judgement in work methods and in interpreting and delegating work requirements/goals.
- Works independently, reviewed infrequently with minimal supervision.
- Has strong computer skills (MS Office) and experience in ERP systems.
- Has a working knowledge of manufacturing principles.
- Is mechanically inclined.
- Has knowledge of hand tools and inspection tools.
- Can read, follow, and train on work order, set‑up, tool, and measurement instructions.
- Can perform diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshoot most programming and machine issues.
- Can change machine set‑ups (pallets, collets, etc.) and programs.
- Ability to lead by example, gain respect from the team, and communicate with clarity while demonstrating excellence in approach to work and people activities.
- Is self‑aware, resilient, assertive, and open to change.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum five years of experience in manufacturing, production, or a related environment.
- Advanced knowledge of department processes, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams and shifts.
- Previous experience in production and quality control methods (ISO
9001, AS9100, etc.). - Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing implementation and production systems.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Use of vision correction is acceptable, if necessary; however, any vision correction apparatus must meet all safety guidelines for the area of activity.
