Overview

An Education Law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its Inland Empire office. This role primarily supports litigation attorneys and requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Transactional experience is a plus, but litigation expertise is essential.

Top 3 Requirements
  • 3+ years of litigation experience (Education Law experience is a major plus)
  • State & Federal court filings and calendaring (Juralaw proficiency required)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with a collaborative mindset to partner closely with attorneys
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
Responsibilities
  • Manage case files and produce legal documents
  • Perform e-filing in administrative, state, and federal courts
  • Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and track deadlines using Juralaw
  • Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence and legal documents
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and attorneys
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of litigation secretary experience supporting multiple attorneys
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Coyote timekeeping, and DMS (iManage or similar)
  • Knowledge of court rules and civil procedures in State and Federal jurisdictions
