An Education Law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its Inland Empire office. This role primarily supports litigation attorneys and requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Transactional experience is a plus, but litigation expertise is essential.
Top 3 Requirements- 3+ years of litigation experience (Education Law experience is a major plus)
- State & Federal court filings and calendaring (Juralaw proficiency required)
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with a collaborative mindset to partner closely with attorneys
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Manage case files and produce legal documents
- Perform e-filing in administrative, state, and federal courts
- Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and track deadlines using Juralaw
- Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence and legal documents
- Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and attorneys
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Minimum 3 years of litigation secretary experience supporting multiple attorneys
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Coyote timekeeping, and DMS (iManage or similar)
- Knowledge of court rules and civil procedures in State and Federal jurisdictions
