THIS JOB REQUIRES 2-3 DAYS A WEEK ONSITE IN CORONA, CA.(Hybrid) Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Magento Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Magento development, a passion for creating scalable e-commerce solutions, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and optimized Magento-based applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Magento-based e-commerce platforms.
- Work closely with business to understand evolving business needs
- Customize Magento themes and modules to meet business requirements.
- Optimize site performance, security, and scalability.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs with Magento.
- Collaborate with designers, QA, and project managers to ensure timely delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Magento.
- Stay updated with the latest Magento trends, tools, and best practices
- Developing Magento modules in PHP using best practices.
- Updating website features and security patches
- Deployment of code to test and production environments hosted on AWS
- Providing production support and troubleshooting integration issues, including 24/7 availability for priority 1 support.
- Performing initial testing before business user testing
- Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or related science subjects.
- Must have 5+ years of Adobe Magento platform experience
- Knowledge of version control systems (Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment
- Knowledge of AWS infrastructure, modern UI/UX trends, eCommerce lifecycle development, Google Tag Manager, SEO, Google Analytics, PPC, A/B Testing, Atlassian tools
- Knowledge of Headless technology, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, containerization, and orchestration are a plus
- Ability to lead junior team members and offshore development team
- Has experience of implementing US and global compliance needs including GDPR, ADA and others
- Functionally strong and technically capable of understanding and making decisions on the latest technologies.
- Strong desire to learn new technologies and support their implementation.
- Understands good leadership and project management principles.
- Highly collaborative and responsive with clear understanding of communication management.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (Corona, California or Grand Prairie, Texas) and collaborate effectively with remote and onsite teams
Compensation depends on experience but is typically between $125K-$145K.
