Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

We are seeking an Employment Outreach Specialist to support individuals in obtaining and maintaining meaningful employment in the community. This role focuses on building employer relationships, conducting job outreach, and providing individualized employment support aligned with each consumer’s vocational goals.

• Assist consumers in obtaining and maintaining regular employment of their choosing
• Conduct individualized job development and job search activities
• Build relationships with local employers and complete a minimum of six new employer contacts per week
• Track all employer contacts and report outcomes and status to the Management Team
• Develop Individual Employment Plans and Job Support Plans in collaboration with consumers
• Communicate with the Accounting Office and submit documentation for funding and accurate billing
• Spend at least 65% of scheduled work hours working out in the community

• Background in workforce development, social work, or a related field
• Knowledge of employment and labor laws
• Sales, outreach, or employer engagement experience preferred
  
  Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or autism
• Skills in mentoring, coaching, teaching, or counseling
• Experience with interviewing, recruiting, training, or employee development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and comfortable working independently in the community
• Must have at least 3 years of experience working with Individual Placement Consumers and hold an Associate Degree-or combination of both.
