Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full Time Nights located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA
The tradition of caring that began Corona Regional Medical Center® dates to 1965. The hospital network now comprises a 238-bed system with a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus, employing more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.
ResponsibilitiesWorking under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides nursing care within his/her scope of practice following unit-specific standards of care and the policies and procedures of Corona Regional Medical Center.
QualificationsESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
- Current BLS (CPR) required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to exercise phone etiquette and computer skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience as a Monitor Tech preferred or completion of dysrhythmia for monitor techs course within 90 days.
- Completion of unit secretary course or equivalent healthcare experience preferred.
Minimum Essential Experience
2 years of recent CNA experience required.
Required Licensure / Certifications
Must have current, valid Certified Nurses Assistant certification, or be currently enrolled in accredited Registered Nursing program with completion of the 1st clinical curriculum semester.
Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
