The Corona Regional Medical Center has a long history of delivering comprehensive care since 1965, evolving through mergers to become a 238‑bed community hospital network certified by The Joint Commission and staffed by over 1,250 healthcare professionals.
ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Social Services Supervisor, this position provides evaluation and psychoeducation to patients and their families or significant others to assist them in coping with psychosocial problems related to acute and chronic illness and treatment regimens in order to maximize the patient's reintegration into the home and community. The therapist is able to provide care for patients through the life span, including late adulthood.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE /
SKILLS:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Patient Rights.
Minimum Essential
Experience:
Specific education and/or experience working with geriatric and/or adult behavioral health patients. Minimum of 12 months clinical experience in the field of Mental Health required.
Minimum Essential
Education:
Master's degree in Social Work, psychology, counseling or a related field required.
Assaultive Behavior Management training required within 90 days from date of hire.
Required Licensure /
Certifications:
LCSW, MFT license preferred. Current BLS (CPR) Certificate American Heart Association required.
