Position SummaryThe Strategic Growth Liaison - Healthcare is responsible for driving regional growth initiatives by executing strategies that expand patient access, strengthen referral partnerships, and support priority service lines across a defined network of healthcare facilities. This role serves as a connector between operational leaders, clinical teams, and external stakeholders to align community needs with organizational goals. The Liaison supports data-informed outreach, cultivates provider and community relationships, and ensures consistent messaging around services, referral processes, and system capacity.
Key Responsibilities- Growth Execution:
Implement and support regional strategic growth plans in coordination with leadership, with a focus on increasing patient volume and service line utilization. - Referral Partner Engagement:
Maintain strong relationships with referring providers, case managers, community-based organizations, FQHCs, and urgent care centers to expand referral pipelines. - Service Line Expansion:
Collaborate with service line leaders (e.g., Behavioral Health, Surgical, Primary Care, Maternal Health) to identify and pursue new outreach opportunities. - Market Intelligence:
Track competitor activity, patient access trends, and referral barriers to identify opportunities for regional market positioning and outreach. - Outreach Coordination:
Conduct strategic field visits, facilitate stakeholder meetings, attend community events, and deliver presentations to promote awareness and access. - Performance Monitoring:
Assist with monitoring KPIs (e.g., referral growth, conversion rates, appointment adherence) and contribute to monthly reporting and CRM documentation. - Operational Alignment:
Work closely with admissions, care coordination, marketing, and scheduling teams to ensure seamless access for referred patients and partner satisfaction. - Escalation & Resolution:
Serve as a first point of contact for external partners experiencing access or communication challenges, and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in provider relations, healthcare outreach, or network development
- Demonstrated understanding of referral patterns, care access barriers, and healthcare delivery systems
- Ability to analyze market and patient data to inform strategy
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) and healthcare systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Care Logic)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to travel regionally (50-75%) and maintain a flexible schedule
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Public Health (MPH), or Business (MBA)
- Familiarity with value-based care, population health, and healthcare payer models
- Bilingual language skills based on regional population needs
