Manufacturing Engineer Intern – Corona, CA
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to support design and process improvement activities within the Hydraulic Actuator Division. Interns will receive training and mentorship that translates to real‑world skills and experiences while contributing to continuous improvement across the facility.
Responsibilities- Investigate and analyze the cost and reliability of using various equipment and processes.
- Study performance and troubleshoot existing tools and equipment and recommend improvements through redesign or modification.
- Estimate costs of assigned projects together with a satisfactory delivery schedule.
- Follow up to ensure schedules are met.
- Create layouts and detail drawings of assigned equipment.
- Evaluate various equipment and methods and point out advantages, disadvantages, and production capabilities.
- Recommend purchase items needed to keep equipment properly maintained.
- Verify process capabilities of equipment designed to ensure proper maintenance.
- Keep up‑to‑date on new developments in equipment or processes that could be adapted to improve manufacturing processes.
- Work may include cross‑functional or project team responsibilities; contribute and support other teams or individuals as needed.
- Current student pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD experience (Solid Works, Envio, etc.) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Blueprint reading and technical report writing abilities.
- Understanding of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement.

- Pay range: $20.52/hr to $34.20/hr.
