Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Corona, California. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone experienced in managing full-cycle accounts payable processes within a manufacturing environment. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:

- Process and manage full-cycle accounts payable functions, including invoice coding and batching.

- Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts to ensure accuracy.

- Communicate effectively with the purchasing team and other departments to resolve discrepancies.

- Handle vendor account reconciliations and maintain accurate records.

- Ensure compliance with sales and use tax regulations and assist with tax filings.

- Prepare and file 1099 forms in accordance with federal requirements.

- Conduct regular check runs and manage ACH payments.

- Utilize SAP software to streamline accounts payable processes.

- Support cash and bank reconciliation tasks as needed.

- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial transactions. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable within a manufacturing environment.

- Proficiency in SAP or similar accounting software.

- Strong understanding of 3-way matching processes.

- Knowledge of sales and use tax compliance and 1099 filing.

- Familiarity with ACH payments and check run procedures.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with cash and bank reconciliations.
