Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Corona, California. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to key financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing accounts receivable activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and experience with payment applications, collections, and reconciliation processes.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts receivable payments across multiple entities with precision and accuracy.

- Perform effective communication with customers to address and resolve outstanding payment issues.

- Conduct detailed reconciliations of AR transactions to ensure all payments are correctly accounted for and posted.

- Utilize specialized software to manage accounts receivable operations and maintain accurate records.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes related to customer accounts.

- Prepare comprehensive accounts receivable reports for management as needed.

- Provide necessary documentation and respond to inquiries during audits.

- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure timely payments.

- Ensure attention to detail in all aspects of billing and cash activity.

- Maintain excellent organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including payment applications and collections.

- Familiarity with AR reconciliation and the ability to ensure accurate transaction records.

- Strong communication skills to effectively address customer payment concerns.

- Proficiency in using accounting software and systems for AR management.

- Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.

- Ability to resolve discrepancies and disputes with careful attention to detail.

- Adept at preparing detailed financial reports for management review.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
