Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational TherapistsAccepting New Graduates Licensed1-5 years of experience requiredPrevious experience treating clients with physical, mental health and/or neurological conditionsAbility to be autonomous; working both independently and as part of the teamExperience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong assetPrevious experience supporting auto insurance, long terms disability and WSIB referrals a strong assetA valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicleR
esponsibilities:
Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoningEducating clients on topics such as pacing, pain, cognitive behavioral strategies and task modification strategies to help improve function.Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of professionals including physiotherapists, kinesiologists, psychotherapists, physicians and psychologistsParticipating in case conferences and case managementSupporting return to work programsUtilizing e-charting software to document treatment sessions; submitting reports to stakeholders in a timely mannerManaging caseload in a fast paced environmentInclusion
