Role Description/Criteria

Sacred Heart Parish School is seeking an enthusiastic STEM teacher to join our learning community. This is an exciting opportunity to lead student learning within a brand new, state of the art STEM facility and contribute to an evidence-based approach to teaching and learning. STEM education at Sacred Heart integrates Science, Technologies, Engineering and Mathematics, supporting students to develop thinking, creativity, collaboration and problem‑solving skills through authentic learning experiences.

Teaching and learning is guided by explicit instruction, ensuring strong knowledge development.

• Commence Tuesday 21st April 2026
• Deliver an engaging STEM prgram for Prep to Year 6 students.
• Work in a collaborative Specialists Team.
• Part-time position – Approximately three days per week inc. 3hrs release for planning (0.6). Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
• Our community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children in our care.

• Current VIT registration
• Knowledge of the Child Safe Standards
