What

you will do
  • Friendly and thoughtful service – put customers first in everything you do: respond to queries, champion Co‑op products and Membership, work in our in‑store bakery and do all you can to deliver a great shopping experience.
  • Work together to make everyone's day better – support your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
  • Make sure the store is safe and legal – keep shelves stocked and ensure prices, dates and temperatures are correct.
  • Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural and share experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together.
  • Support your local community – get involved in all kinds of activities and events.

Customer

Team Leader responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards while supporting your store colleagues to be their best.
  • Assist the Store Manager and ensure the store is always safe.
  • Keep the store well‑stocked and looking great, leading by example.
  • Take pride in doing the right thing.
Store Manager responsibilities
  • Lead your team and ensure everyone works together to deliver a great in‑store experience for customers.
  • Drive sales and inspire the team to meet targets.
  • Manage a large team across around 20 stores and contribute to your communities.
  • Bring the company's strategies to life through exciting projects and programmes.
  • Enjoy opportunities for growth and the freedom to develop.

Working pattern

Varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed  role will include working in our in‑store bakery.
