Role Description

As a Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring they meet objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Your role includes planning, coordination, and leadership to manage resources, stakeholders, and risks throughout the project lifecycle. You will drive project performance and foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent results. We are looking for a proactive, organised professional with strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills committed to high‑quality delivery and organisational success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project plans that outline scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Oversee project execution to meet milestones and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, teams, and partners to maintain alignment and clear communication.
  • Identify and manage risks proactively, resolving issues to keep projects on track.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, encouraging collaboration, accountability, and effective problem‑solving.
  • Monitor budgets to ensure projects are delivered within financial limits.
  • Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational standards, contracts, and regulations.
  • Continuously improve project management processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience managing construction projects from feasibility to handover using industry‑standard methodologies.
  • Strong sector knowledge in education, infrastructure, housing, and large‑scale developments, including relevant regulations and client priorities.
  • Expertise in construction methods, design management, and leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Skilled in risk and issue management to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with clients, contractors, design teams, and authorities.
  • Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Experienced in leading teams to foster accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Practical knowledge of NEC contracts, including documentation, change control, early warnings, and compensation events.
  • Up‑to‑date understanding of planning permissions, building regulations, CDM 2015, Building Safety Act, and environmental standards.
