This is a full-time, on-site position located in St. Agnes as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. The Respiratory Care Practitioner will be responsible for administering respiratory therapy treatments and monitoring patient responses, collaborating with healthcare teams to develop care plans, and offering education to patients and their families regarding respiratory health. The role also includes setting up and operating respiratory equipment, ensuring proper ventilation, and maintaining a safe and clean environment in compliance with hospital guidelines.
Qualifications- Proficiency in administering respiratory therapy treatments and maintaining associated equipment
- Strong knowledge of respiratory care protocols, techniques, and medical equipment
- Excellent patient communication and education skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Organization and attention to detail to ensure regulatory compliance
- Qualification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Current state licensure for a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
