Operations & Maintenance Asset Manager
Location:
Padstow
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
An established and growing renewable energy business is seeking a motivated and organised Operations & Maintenance Project Manager / Asset Manager to join its expanding team in Cornwall.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation delivering Solar PV and Wind Turbine projects across the UK. The company provides a full in-house service from design and build through to long-term asset management and operations.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring and managing operational renewable energy assets, ensuring sites are maintained to the highest health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and review performance of operational renewable energy sites via online monitoring portals
Identify faults and system underperformance, diagnosing issues and coordinating solutions
Review site inspection reports and provide technical feedback
Collate operational data and manage compliance schedules
Prepare and issue performance reports to clients following inspections or fault identification
Provide performance analysis and recommend operational improvements
Liaise with clients, Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), landowners, engineers, and external consultants
Coordinate with O&M teams and track progress of remedial works
Essential Requirements
Minimum 1 year's experience working on the operation of commercial Solar PV systems
Methodical and process-driven approach
Strong organisational and communication skills
Solution-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Skills
CAD experience
Broader renewable energy industry knowledge (Solar PV and/or Wind)
Degree qualified in Renewable Energy, Engineering, or similar discipline
