Position: Licensed Automotive Technician (full time NL
DENNIS GM has a career opportunity at our Corner Brook location for a qualified candidate who enjoys working as a team member in a positive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

* Road Test and Inspect Cars and Light & Heavy Duty Trucks including diesel

* Adjust, repair or replace parts of automobiles

* Inspect brake systems, wheel bearings, steering components and other engine parts and perform repairs as required per General Motors specifications

* Diagnosing, identifying and replacing worn or broken parts as required

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

* A valid Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification

* General Motors Technician training is an asset but not a requirement

* Valid Driver’s licence

* Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle

* Focused, energetic and organized

* Motivated and hard working

This position is Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm and reports to the Service Manager.

Pay is 40 hours per week plus gain time.
