Controller​/Finance Manager

Position Summary

Controller/Finance Manager to lead the accounting, financial reporting and financials analysis functions within a privately held manufacturing organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, overseeing accounting operations, and providing financial insight that supports operational and strategic decision‑making.

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process in accordance with U.S. GAAP, lead the month‑end and year‑end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

• Oversee inventory and manufacturing accounting processes and ensure accurate accounting of raw materials, work‑in‑process, and finished goods inventory.

• Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.

• Oversee a small accounting team responsible for general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Design and maintain effective internal controls and accounting processes, and collaborate with operations to support accurate financial reporting.

• Serve as the primary contact for banking relationships, external auditors and tax advisors.

• Provide leadership with clear financial analysis and performance insights.

• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing accounting environments.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with inventory accounting.
• Demonstrated experience owning or directly executing a full month‑end close process.
