Must-Have:
General ICU skill set including experience with critical care medications, insulin, vasopressors, sedation, and management of invasive lines.
Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms, manage chest tubes, ventilators, and blood products.

Experience with wound care and dressing changes.

Description:

The role involves providing exceptional care to critically ill patients.
The unit consists of 33 beds, serving a range of medical diagnoses excluding cardiac surgical cases.
Staffing ratios typically involve 1-2 patients per RN, with support from a CNA.
The candidate must be comfortable managing complex patient needs.
Floating between facilities within the region may be required based on patient care needs.
All shifts will involve night work with rotating weekends.
Travelers will be scheduled to work 75% of holidays.
Up to 6 days off may be approved, excluding holiday time.
Scrub colors will be navy.
The facility uses an EPIC electronic medical record system and various medical equipment for patient care.
