Part time Radiology Technologist for Urgent Care

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 4pm to 8pm. The Radiologic Technologist works independently and/or assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images in the ambulatory setting.

• Operate x-ray equipment and prepare patients to obtain diagnostic images in the ambulatory setting, working independently and/or with physicians as needed.

• Education:
  
  Associate Degree (2 years) preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.
• Experience:
  
  One year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT certification in Radiography (RT(R)) required. NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R) required. NH Medical Group Office Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R) required.

  Skills:
  
  Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories; analytical ability and basic computer skills; ability to modify care according to patient age; ability to interpret information to identify patient care requirements relative to age-specific needs; good communication skills; ability to function independently in diagnostic rooms; adaptable to various x-ray equipment and procedures.
