LHH is looking for a Wealth Management Advisor for a position in the Cornelius, NC area! We are looking for a motivated professional who is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate complex financial decisions. This position is ideal for someone who values a collaborative, entrepreneurial setting and wants to play a meaningful role in shaping a growing advisory practice. Candidates who hold, or are actively pursuing, a recognized financial planning credential are especially encouraged to apply.

This role is well-suited to someone who thrives in a smaller team, appreciates holistic financial planning, and wants to build long-term client relationships from the outset.

Responsibilities

Client Management & Planning Support

  • Monitor clients’ financial situations with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Participate in the full client onboarding process, including preparing meeting materials, organizing required documents, developing asset allocation outlines, drafting planning summaries, and capturing follow-up actions.
  • Assist in coordinating planning solutions with outside professionals when needed.
  • Build and update comprehensive financial plans and long-term retirement projections using specialized planning tools.
  • Conduct investment research, evaluate portfolio allocations, and calculate performance metrics and benchmarks.
  • Assist in the execution of trades and portfolio rebalancing activities.
  • Contribute to quarterly reporting efforts and overall data organization.

Client Interaction

  • Communicate with clients by phone and in person with professionalism, courtesy, and confidence.
  • Proactively identify questions, anticipate needs, and help clients understand their plan and investment strategy.
Qualifications
  • Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) designation strongly preferred, or active progress toward earning the credential.
  • Possession of the Series 65 license
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including comfort working with projections, investment concepts, and data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong proficiency with technology; advanced spreadsheet skills are especially valuable.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy, organization, and follow‑through.
  • A proactive, self‑directed work style combined with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
