Mechanical Engineer

This position provides engineering knowledge and expertise to the Technical Services department with a focus on consumer products. It requires both technical and interpersonal aptitude to initiate and complete assignments related to product performance and customer service.

• Conduct technically valid field investigations and communicate results effectively, coordinating follow-ups.
• Provide technical training to field sales staff and customers, participating in the design and creation of training materials.
• Organize and plan training sessions, working with vendors to cover necessary material and demonstrate increasing skill with technical information.
• Utilize engineering knowledge to support internal projects and provide technical support to internal staff and customers.
• Coordinate vendor activities to achieve goals within predetermined timelines and resource limits.
• Complete other tasks as required by Technical Services management.

This is a high-travel role, with 50% of time spent onsite with customers. Typically, you will be home for weekends. The role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients and ensures no shortage of work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cornelius, NC.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
