3rd Shift Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Tech

Responsibilities/Duties

• Provide technical support to the production environment ensuring proper functioning equipment producing consistent quality products.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems on high-speed cheese packaging lines.
• Install and remove new and existing equipment as needed.
• Ability to fabricate and machine stainless steel and other materials used in the facility.

• Demonstrate a high mechanical aptitude and the ability to problem-solve.
• Proficient in reading & writing English, and solving basic math problems.
• Knowledge of industrial electronics, including PLCs, drives, schematics, and ladder logic.
• Strong team player who can give and receive constructive feedback.
• Maintain professionalism when interacting with customers, co-workers, management and the public.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Associates Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or related field. Willingness to pursue further education to keep up with technological advancements.
• Preferably 5+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment.

1st Shift: Monday thru Friday, 5:45 am to 2:00 pm. Saturday hours are generally 5:45 am to 12:00 pm.

2nd Shift: Monday thru Friday, 1:45 pm to 10:00 pm. Saturday hours are generally 11:45 am to 6:00 pm.

3rd Shift: Monday thru Friday, 9:45 pm to 6:00 am. Saturday hours are generally 5:45 pm to 12:00 am or until Sanitation is complete. Please note we have a Monday night start for 3rd Shift.

Saturday hours are dependent on production and staffing needs.

All work performed in excess of 8 hours in any work day or 40 hours straight time in any work week shall be compensated at the rate of time and one half your straight time rate.
