Our client, a well-established company in the transport and logistics industry, is looking to recruit a semi-skilled mechanic to assist in the maintenance and repair of their fleet of HGVs and vans
.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic mechanical experience who is looking to grow their skills in a busy workshop environment.

• Assist with routine servicing and maintenance of HGVs and vans
• Support senior mechanics with repairs and fault-finding
• Carry out basic mechanical and workshop tasks under supervision
• Maintain tools and workshop cleanliness
• Follow all health and safety procedures

• Some previous experience in a mechanical or workshop setting
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance (experience with commercial vehicles is an advantage)
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
