Industrial Door Engineer

Overview

A skilled Industrial Door Engineer is required to maintain and repair a range of industrial doors across various facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach to solving technical challenges.

• Install, service, and repair industrial doors including roller shutters, sectional overhead doors, and high-speed doors.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure systems are functioning efficiently.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in door systems.
• Liaise with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Maintain accurate service reports and records of parts used.

• Proven experience in industrial door installation and maintenance.
• Competent in reading technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills for client and team interaction.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to the role.
• Electrical qualifications or relevant certifications will be an advantage.
