As our Sales and Marketing Administrator, you'll be the beating heart of the office in a growing engineering and industrial automation business. Based in Wellingborough, you'll support our sales and production teams, keep orders moving, and keep customers informed. This is an office‑based role in Wellingborough.

JOB DESCRIPTIONAs our Sales and Marketing Administrator you will provide essential administrative support to both the sales and production teams. You will manage customer orders, handle enquiries, and support sales operations to ensure smooth day‑to‑day business activity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Process customer orders and update order information accurately.
- Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email, providing order and delivery updates.
- Coordinate deliveries and prepare basic dispatch paperwork.
- Assist with quotations, invoices, and sales reports.
- Maintain customer and sales records using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
The most important quality for this role is attitude. We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to get stuck in, roll their sleeves up, and help wherever needed in a small, busy office environment. An interest in marketing or supporting marketing activities is a strong advantage. Full training will be provided.
KEY REQUIREMENTS- Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and reliability.
- Confident communication skills, both verbally and in writing (phone, email, face‑to‑face).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of CRM systems such as Salesforce, or willingness to learn.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAGE, SAP) is advantageous.
- A full, valid driving licence.
