Sewing Machinist – £12.21 per hour, NN17 1QE
. 4 day working week Mon–Thu, 7am–5pm. Immediate Start. Temp to Perm.

Due to continued success and expansion plans, a head office location of a globally renowned clothing brand has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join the Production Team. You will provide support to the Production Manager as a key member of the team.

• 2 week shutdown at Christmas

• Permanent role after a successful temporary period

You will be joining the Corby Head Office of a Global Brand that has been established for over 40 years and has an enviable reputation in its field. The organisation is known for delivering outstanding quality products, and recruitment is for a Sewing Machinist who shares that standard.

• Interpreting garment pattern
• Operating both Overlocker and Flatbed sewing machines
• Ensuring quality standards are met on all products
• Working to daily production targets as a team
• Day-to-day general maintenance on machines, raising awareness of any machinery or material issue

• Good working knowledge of Overlocker and Flatbed machines
• Excellent eye for detail
• Ability to work well to targets
• Experience in Machinist, Seamstress or Tailor roles is advantageous
• Willingness to undergo 1-to-1 onboarding to become familiar with company processes and procedures
