We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Transport Administrator to provide essential day‑to‑day administrative support to both our Transport and Compliance Teams, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to legal driver compliance requirements.

Compliance Officer

Salary: £30,750.00

Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours (08:00 - 16:30)

• Processing holiday, uniform and overtime requests, ensuring accurate records and timely approvals to maintain workforce planning and operational efficiency.
• Logging absences and updating GANT calendars to keep schedules current and support resource allocation.
• Compiling driver payroll reports by collating and verifying data for payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Managing tachograph calendar entries to ensure adherence to EU driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Setting up new drivers on telematics systems and Tachomaster, ensuring all onboarding processes are completed promptly.
• Producing weekly compliance reports, analysing data to identify trends and issues, and working collaboratively with Transport, Fleet and Training teams to resolve any non‑compliance.
• Assisting with fuel system management by monitoring fuel usage, producing reports and generating KPIs to support cost control and operationalelum performance.

• Previous experience in fleet, transport or logistics administration with a solid understanding of operational processes and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under pressure.
• A proactive and reliable approach with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues across different teams.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to collate and present data effectively, producing clear and accurate reports for management and compliance purposes.
• Excellent communication skills, confident in both written and verbal communication, and able to build strong relationships internally and externally.
