Position Summary: Responsible for all cleaning tasks as assigned by Supervisor and as per contract specifications. Tasks include bathroom maintenance, floor care, window cleaning, general office cleaning, groundskeeping and power washing.

• Demonstrates skills in glass surface cleaning (i.e. windows) and general floor care (i.e. stripping, waxing and buffing).
• Ensures SAFETY in every aspect of the program by means of maintaining appropriate behaviors when traveling/performing/socializing, and practicing proper bending, carrying, lifting, and kneeling.
• Loads equipment into vans to ensure passengers’ safety and good visibility for the driver.
• Operates machinery safely and keeps unused equipment or chemicals on job sites to the side in an orderly fashion to prevent accidents.
• Uses caution signs at all times when sweeping, stripping, mopping and waxing and inquires about appropriate usage and procedures for chemicals.
• Reads product labels and completes all assigned tasks as directed by Supervisor, including: bathroom disinfection; window cleaning; carpet vacuuming and shampooing; stripping, waxing and buffing floors; trash removal; cleans equipment after usage; and may clean vans.
• Complies with the rules and regulations set forth by Clean Corp.
• Lifts/moves heavy objects on occasion and may climb ladders if necessary (e.g., changing a light bulb, cleaning high surfaces).
• Ensures proper cleaning chemicals are diluted as per specifications and utilized properly, with ability to identify and read labels.
• Replenishes supplies upon return from the job site if applicable and participates in ongoing trainings and regular staff meetings.
• Removes snow using hand tools or a snow blower as needed.
• This role may include other duties as required by supervisors and is subject to changes in work schedules and locations.

High School Diploma preferred. Knowledge of cleaning equipment and maintenance procedures. Must be able to obtain and wear an Agency uniform. NYS Driver’s license and access to a vehicle a plus. Computer literacy is a plus.
