Assistant in Training

Summary

The Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager positions are designed to fulfill Buckle’s mission: to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests. AIT and Assistant Managers perform sales, merchandising and operational tasks assigned by store management (cashiering, merchandise display and pulls, register procedures, and routine cleaning of facilities). They work directly with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit new teammates, provide leadership, train and motivate teammates, and act as the Store Manager in their absence.

The Assistant Manager is a progression from the AIT position and therefore includes additional high level duties that are specific to that position while sharing the majority of job duties and responsibilities.
