Overview

Hiring ASAP for an experienced Catastrophic/wrongful death Legal Assistant/Paralegal in Miami! The firm is a high-level complex plaintiff trial firm specializing in catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice.

• Case Management from inception through trial
• Draft, prepare, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
• Manage deadlines, calendar, coordinate, and schedule case events including depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Request, organize, and review medical and triage records
• File documents in state and federal courts
• Work closely with clients on case updates, discovery and interrogatories, and preparing for depositions, trial, and other court appearances.
• Handle trial prep - organize exhibits, trial documents and binders, witnesses, etc
• Ability to work directly with the senior-level team

• Minimum of 3 years in injury litigation (plaintiff or defense side)
• Experience handling complex trial prep and reading medical records
• Ability to work in an office full-time, work well under pressure, and in a fast-paced environment
