Associate Attorney – Family Law Litigation
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Litigation Associate Attorney to join a growing South Florida firm dedicated exclusively to marital and family law. This role is ideal for a technically strong, detail‑oriented attorney with 3+ years of family law experience who is looking to advance within a dynamic and high-performing practice. Key Responsibilities- Manage a full family law caseload from intake through final resolution
- Handle divorce, pre‑ and post‑nuptial agreements, time sharing, parenting plans, alimony, child support, and domestic violence matters
- Prepare and argue motions; conduct discovery, take depositions, and attend mediations
- Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in family law
- Draft petitions, motions, pleadings, discovery, and all required legal documentation
- Collaborate with colleagues while independently managing caseload responsibilities
- Mentor junior attorneys or support staff when needed
- Active Florida Bar license in good standing
- 3+ years of family law and litigation experience
- Familiarity with the Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Experience with hearings, mediations, depositions, discovery, and trial preparation
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high-quality work
- Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client advocacy
