We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Paralegal to join our legal team. Our ideal candidate is a self‑starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for law. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our firm, supporting attorneys in a variety of legal tasks, while also managing discovery.
- Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset through post‑trial.
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings and to formulate a defense or to initiate legal action.
- Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, discovery,>
- Respond to discovery requests, manage case files, and ensure all relevant information is compiled and organized.
- Coordinate the collection, review, and production of documents and respond to inquiries.
- Maintain case management system and ensure information is current and accurate.
- Coordinate with witnesses and experts, schedule depositions, and manage trial logistics.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and other professionals.
- Prior and/or current litigation experience.
- Proven experience drafting pleadings and responding to discovery requests.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and principles.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks while meeting deadlines.
