Overview

Are you an admin/developer ready to move into a Manager role? The Workday HRIS System Manager will oversee the configuration, optimization, and ongoing management of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role acts as the primary liaison between HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure the platform supports strategic HR initiatives and operational needs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead configuration and maintenance of Workday modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Absence, and Recruiting.
  • Manage system updates, testing, and deployment of new features and functionality.
  • Analyze and optimize HR business processes to align with Workday capabilities.
  • Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Oversee Workday integrations with payroll, benefits, finance, and other third-party systems.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all HRIS processes.
  • Provide training, documentation, and support for end-users and HR team members.
  • Lead or support Workday-related projects such as module implementations, enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Design dashboards, reports, and automations to provide strategic insights.
  • Enhance employee and manager self-service offerings.
  • Maintain security policies and manage user access controls.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and liaison between IT and HR/Finance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Workday experience, with proven success in HRIS admin/development experience
  • Hands‑on experience configuring Workday business processes.
  • 2–3 years of PM/BA experience.
  • Functional expertise across HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, and Talent & Performance.
  • Experience with multiple Workday HCM deployments preferred.
  • Workday HCM certifications (Recruiting, Learning, Performance Management) preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong data management and reporting skills.
