Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals and workforce plans.
  • Manage, mentor, and support the Recruiter, providing direction, prioritization, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Remain heavily involved in full-cycle recruiting for key, high-volume, and hard-to-fill roles across all departments.
  • Partner with executive leadership and department heads on workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and hiring timelines.
  • Develop and maintain compensation bands and salary ranges in partnership with HR and leadership, informed by market data, internal equity, and organizational needs.
  • Monitor compensation and labor market trends to ensure Inter Miami CF remains competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Use recruiting metrics, workforce data, and market insights to drive decision-making, improve processes, and forecast hiring needs.
  • Oversee and participate in all phases of the recruitment process, from role intake through onboarding.
  • Collaborate closely with department leaders to create accurate, compelling job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Independently manage recruiting priorities and workflows while effectively coordinating with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement effective sourcing strategies based on role requirements, data insights, and best practices.
  • Oversee job posting, advertising, and employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Source, screen, and assess candidates to ensure strong quality, fit, and diversity of pipelines.
  • Coordinate, prepare for, and conduct interviews; advise hiring managers on structured interviewing and selection best practices.
  • Serve as a strategic partner during the offer process, including compensation recommendations, incentives, start dates, and negotiation guidance within established bands.
  • Ensure all recruiting and compensation-related activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, professional organizations, and external talent networks.
  • Represent Inter Miami CF at job fairs, networking events, and recruiting sessions.
  • Continuously network and cultivate long-term relationships with prospective candidates.
  • Oversee reference checks and related pre-employment processes as needed.
  • Support and help organize onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
  • Track, analyze, and report on recruiting and workforce metrics to leadership, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead or contribute to special projects related to talent acquisition, workforce planning, compensation, and employer branding.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant talent acquisition or recruitment experience, including experience leading or mentoring others.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience balancing strategic leadership with hands-on recruiting execution.
  • Experience developing or managing compensation bands, salary benchmarking, and market analysis.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret recruiting and compensation data to inform decisions.
  • Very strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Self-directed, dependable, professional and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions and build excellent working relationships.
  • Reputation for integrity, dedicated work ethic, confidentiality and desire for ownership and accountability.
  • Deep understanding of relevant employment laws and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve daily challenges.
  • Strong work ethic: team player with a positive "get the job done" attitude.
  • Proficiency with Paylocity; ATS;
    Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
