Position StatusPRN / As Needed
Anticipated Work HoursMonday 07:00‑17:00 and PTO coverage for Tuesday‑Friday.
Responsibilities- Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures as prescribed by a physician.
- Instruct patients on physiological requirements for the procedure.
- Assess contraindications to entering a magnetic field (e.g., staples, pacemaker, magnetic prosthesis).
- Assist in identifying areas of injury to aid diagnosis.
- Prepare patients for examination, explain the procedure, position them correctly, administer contrast, and provide post‑procedure care.
- Ensure all consent forms are signed prior to examinations.
- Accurately process exam data with direct computer entry.
- Maintain a clean, safe, orderly work area and observe OSHA and HIPAA requirements.
- Recognize reactions to contrast media and administer CPR if necessary.
- Comply with all corporate policies and procedures.
- Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of an accredited imaging technology program.
- Registered in MR within one year of employment.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation within 90 days of employment and renew annually.
- Licensed by the state (for Maryland and Virginia offices).
- Specialized breast imaging services for high‑risk patients, delivered by highly skilled technologists.
