The Unanue Graduate Career Advancement Center at the Miami Herbert Business School is actively searching for an experienced Executive Director. This leader will spearhead the Unanue Graduate Career Advancement department, shaping a visionary strategy aimed at enhancing career outcomes for graduate business students. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, development, and administration of comprehensive career advancement services. Furthermore, they will actively foster relationships with organizations and professionals to create diverse opportunities in employment, internships, co-op programs, and experiential learning.

Core job functions include strategic planning and visionary leadership, employer relations, career counseling and coaching, program development, data analysis, reporting, budget management, and collaboration with stakeholders. The role requires collaboration with the Associate Dean of Career and Industry Engagement, leadership of a career advancement team, development of employer partnerships, coaching students and alumni, program innovation, data-driven evaluation, budget oversight, and representation of the college locally and nationally.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (MBA or relevant Business Master’s preferred), coaching certification preferred, and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience including at least 3 years in career services at an accredited business school or as a recruiter for graduate business students. Knowledge of business and management principles, project management, career development theories, and counseling processes is essential.
