Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Architect to join our Coral Gables studio.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the full range of architectural services on small‑to‑large scale projects.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and accessibility requirements.
- Provide project reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Contribute to planning and concept refinement for complex projects.
- Oversee design work of junior staff to maintain integration and cohesion.
- Mentor junior staff and facilitate knowledge transfer of design principles, processes, building codes, and construction methods.
- Present design solutions to client representatives and design review committees.
- Coordinate drawings with other design disciplines.
- Develop technical solutions to deliver design intent through documentation and detailing.
- Prepare, edit, and coordinate specifications with drawings to meet project requirements.
- Evaluate, select, and approve materials and products.
- Demonstrate enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary development process and team‑focused environment.
- Collaborate with senior staff members and principals as project needs require.
- Expertise with CAD/BIM documentation software (AutoCAD, Revit).
- Advanced knowledge of BIM or parametric design (Dynamo, Grasshopper) is an asset.
- Strong 3D modeling skills (Sketch Up, Rhino, Revit).
- Rendering software proficiency (Enscape, Lumion) is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship‑management skills.
- Proven record of managing projects during construction, construction administration, and coordination with contractors.
- Ability to coordinate architectural drawings for complex projects across multiple consultant teams.
- Ability to resolve complex technical and design issues.
- Effective time‑management and deadline adherence.
- Collaboration in a team environment.
- Professional degree in Architecture (BArch/MArch).
- 8+ years of professional experience.
- Architectural license required; preference for licensure in the jurisdiction of the job location.
- LEED Accredited Professional designation preferred.
- Previous work experience with high‑end residential, mixed‑use, and hospitality projects preferred.
