Job Description

We are seeking an Architect to join our Coral Gables studio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full range of architectural services on small‑to‑large scale projects.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and accessibility requirements.
  • Provide project reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
  • Contribute to planning and concept refinement for complex projects.
  • Oversee design work of junior staff to maintain integration and cohesion.
  • Mentor junior staff and facilitate knowledge transfer of design principles, processes, building codes, and construction methods.
  • Present design solutions to client representatives and design review committees.
  • Coordinate drawings with other design disciplines.
  • Develop technical solutions to deliver design intent through documentation and detailing.
  • Prepare, edit, and coordinate specifications with drawings to meet project requirements.
  • Evaluate, select, and approve materials and products.
  • Demonstrate enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary development process and team‑focused environment.
  • Collaborate with senior staff members and principals as project needs require.
Qualifications
  • Expertise with CAD/BIM documentation software (AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Advanced knowledge of BIM or parametric design (Dynamo, Grasshopper) is an asset.
  • Strong 3D modeling skills (Sketch Up, Rhino, Revit).
  • Rendering software proficiency (Enscape, Lumion) is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship‑management skills.
  • Proven record of managing projects during construction, construction administration, and coordination with contractors.
  • Ability to coordinate architectural drawings for complex projects across multiple consultant teams.
  • Ability to resolve complex technical and design issues.
  • Effective time‑management and deadline adherence.
  • Collaboration in a team environment.
Required Experience
  • Professional degree in Architecture (BArch/MArch).
  • 8+ years of professional experience.
  • Architectural license required; preference for licensure in the jurisdiction of the job location.
  • LEED Accredited Professional designation preferred.
  • Previous work experience with high‑end residential, mixed‑use, and hospitality projects preferred.
