BC Architects AIA, Inc. (BCA), a Coral Gables–based architecture and multi-disciplinary design firm, is seeking an Architectural Project Coordinator with 2+ years of professional experience to join our growing team.
We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional with experience supporting and coordinating complex architectural projects from schematic design through construction documentation. This role is ideal for someone ready to deepen their technical skills, take on greater responsibility, and grow within a collaborative, design & production-driven studio.
What you'll do:- Coordinate and support projects through all phases, ensuring accurate production of design and construction documents.
- Produce and coordinate drawings and project documentation using Revit.
- Assist project managers, senior staff, and project team members with design development, technical detailing, project documentation tasks, and document management.
- Conduct building code, zoning, and local ordinances research to ensure compliance and integrate requirements into project documents.
- Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to integrate architectural, engineering, and design information.
- Provide support during construction administration, including processing RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and assisting with field‑related inquiries and documentation.
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) or equivalent education and experience, with a minimum of 2 years of professional practice, preferably on mid‑ or high‑rise multifamily and/or mixed‑use projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, with experience in BIM workflows; working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam Revu; familiarity with visualization and graphic tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch Up, etc.) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of architectural design, construction documentation, building systems, and detailing, with working knowledge of Florida Building, Fire, and Accessibility Codes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently under moderate supervision while handling multiple tasks, deadlines, and/or projects.
- Clear English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to presentations and coordination efforts.
