BIM Manager / Architectural Project Coordinator (Dual-Role)

BC Architects AIA, Inc. (BCA), a Coral Gables–based architecture and multi-disciplinary design firm, is hiring a BIM Manager / Architectural Project Coordinator with a minimum of 5 years’ architectural production and BIM experience to join our growing team.
This dual‑role position requires a highly organized and technically skilled professional who can lead the development and implementation of BIM standards and workflows while also assisting in coordinating the production of architectural documents from schematic design through construction documentation.
What you’ll do:BIM Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain firm‑wide BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
- Set up and manage Revit models, ensuring model health and performance.
- Provide staff training, technical support, and troubleshooting on Revit and other BIM tools.
- Coordinate BIM processes with consultants to ensure model alignment, compliance, and smooth data exchange.
- Review and evaluate models, software, and workflow improvements to support quality control and enhance efficiency.
- Assist in coordinating and executing architectural projects from schematic design through construction documents.
- Produce and coordinate drawings, details, diagrams, schedules, and technical documentation using Revit.
- Support project managers and senior staff with design development and coordination.
- Assist with code research, consultant coordination, and quality control reviews.
- Support construction administration efforts, including RFIs and shop drawing reviews, and maintain accurate project files.
- Professional architectural degree (B.Arch/M.Arch) with at least 5 years of architectural production and BIM management experience, preferably on mid‑ or high‑rise multifamily or mixed‑use projects.
- Expertise in Revit, with proficiency in managing BIM standards, workflows, and troubleshooting; proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu.
- Strong understanding of architectural design, construction documentation, building systems, detailing, and applicable codes.
- Solid knowledge of cloud collaboration tools such as BIM 360/ACC, and experience with visualization or graphic tools such as Sketch Up, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to balance BIM leadership with hands‑on project production.
- Work on prominent, complex architectural projects.
