Job Title: Dental QA Supervisor Remote.
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Dental QA Supervisor to oversee dental billing operations, contractor coordination, and documentation accuracy. This role requires strong leadership, technical proficiency, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to evolving systems and workflows. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in dental insurance coordination and the ability to lead, train, and support team members to ensure consistent performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Implement, maintain, and continuously improve systems and procedures that enhance departmental efficiency and operational accuracy.
- Supervise, lead, and support dental billing team members, providing guidance, performance oversight, and training as needed.
- Maintain consistent communication with contractors and the contracting party, providing updates, reviewing deliverables, and initiating corrective actions when necessary.
- Conduct meetings with contractors to evaluate performance, address issues, and ensure alignment with service expectations.
- Prepare detailed operational, performance, and compliance reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate documentation of insurance coverage details, including deductibles, copays, exclusions, and discrepancies requiring follow-up with insurers or contractors.
- Monitor claim volumes, outstanding appeals, and deadlines to ensure quality standards and timely resolution.
- Ensure all payments received are accurately posted to the correct patient accounts, overseeing all checks entries qualities and deliveries distribution.
- Handle discrepancies in payments, investigate issues, and work with the accounting team to resolve them.
- Monitor check posting trends and evaluate department performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Proactively identify and communicate issues that may impact workflow, service delivery, or compliance to the contracting party.
- Ensure all patient and sensitive information is handled in strict accordance with confidentiality, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Dental Insurance Coordinator required.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise a dental billing team, including training, coaching, and onboarding staff.
- Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new systems and procedures.
- Tech-savvy, with advanced proficiency in dental billing software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
