We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Residential Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects, from the initial design phase through to completion. This role is integral to our business, as the Estimator will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are accurately budgeted and financially viable.
This is a full-time, permanent position, offering competitive salary and benefits.

Job Details Responsibilities
Reviewing and analyzing residential construction plans and specifications to determine the total cost of the project.Preparing detailed cost estimates that include all materials, labor, equipment, and services required for the project.Conducting "take offs" to determine the quantities of materials required for the project.Working closely with the preconstruction team to develop a comprehensive understanding of the project scope and requirements.Identifying potential cost risks and providing solutions to mitigate these risks.Collaborating with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure that all estimates are accurate and comprehensive.Regularly updating cost databases to reflect changes in market conditions or construction methods.Presenting cost estimates to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.Maintaining a thorough knowledge of current building codes, trends, and advancements in residential construction techniques.Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction estimating.Proven experience in the home building industry, with a strong understanding of all aspects of residential construction.Proficiency in take offs and preconstruction planning.Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen eye for detail.Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.Proficiency in construction estimating software and other relevant computer applications.A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.A strong understanding of local building codes and regulations.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Join our team and put your skills to the test in an exciting, fast-paced environment.
