Responsibilities
- Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including OVDP and Streamlined compliance filings.
- Analyze client information, record journal entries, and complete reconciliations.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships while acting as a reliable point of contact.
- Work collaboratively with team members and actively support a cooperative team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience (required).
- Solid understanding of accounting and auditing standards.
- Practical experience with journal entry preparation and accrual versus cash basis accounting.
- Ability to perform GILTI calculations.
- Experience preparing multiple tax forms, including 1040, 8858, 8865, 1120, 1065, 5471, 5472, and FBAR.
- Knowledge of CFC and foreign partnership classifications, along with Check-the-Box elections.
- Preferred software experience with Ultra Tax or Pro Systems, Quick Books, and Practice CS.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
