Position Summary:

Kiewit is hiring multiple Deck Winch Operators for the Marine Yard in Coquitlam, BC.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience
• Mechanic experience is an asset
• Crane operating experience is an asset
• Pleasure Craft Operator Certification (PCOC)
• Fall Protection
• Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP)
• CSTS 2020 and WHMIS
• Small Vessel Operator Proficiency (SVOP) is an asset
• First Aid Level 1 or 2 is an asset
• Confined Space is an asset

Shift Information:

• Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day, day shifts
• Saturday, Sunday and/or Statutory Holiday work may be required as needed
• Overtime over 8 hours/shift or 40 hours/week

Additional Information:

• Wage: $42.59/hour
• All candidates must pass a Sure Hire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test

Project Information:
The Kiewit Marine Yard actively services Kiewit’s Canadian marine fleet and other construction equipment. Yard operations primarily involve staging equipment and materials on land, transferring materials to and from barges, and fabricating materials for various projects.
