Wage:
Starting at $37.5/hour

Reports to:

General Manager

• Supervision and support in relation to established installation goals and quality control for job site work/duties
  • Good knowledge about stone types, bonding agents, handling and stone cutting/polishing/bonding equipments.
  • Coordinate, schedule and supervise workers to install, shape, finish, service and bond different types of stone products.
  • Abilities to resolve work/site problems and provide recommendations to resolve when needed to improve time and quality.
  • Quality Control coordination and method of Installation/Delivery with other contractors or subcontractors (i.e. template, bonding agents, transporting, completion of work, safety, etc…) to meet deadlines.
  • Information and coordination with Project Managers, manufacturing supervisor, production associates and construction site supervisors to maintain the Installation/Delivery schedule commitments
  • Coordination of training for new and current workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
• Load & off load truck and transport material into project work sites;
• Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires and brackets if necessary;
• Set slabs in position and apply pressure to affix it to base;
• Use level, square and straightedges to align and straighten slabs;
• Fills all horizontal and vertical seams with epoxy and polyester resin colored to match stone;
• Sets tops as close as practical to the same plane as cabinets including cooktops;
• Cut, polish and fit granite, marble & artificial marble if needed using hand and power cutting tools;
• To use chisel, bush hammer to carve, riffle, letter and cleave ring.
• Prepare, measure and mark surface to be covered;
• Mix, lay and polish terrazzo surfaces.
• Remove and replace cracked or damaged slabs;
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications;
• Prepare rough plans and sketches;
• Mentor junior workers
