Modern PURAIR () is Canada’s fastest growing indoor air quality company, offering furnace and air duct cleaning, indoor air quality testing, coil cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, air purification equipment including HEPA filters and UVC/UVV germicidal technology, and filter maintenance programs for homes and businesses including offices, retail locations, property management companies, restoration companies, schools, hospitals, and more.

We have a company history dating back to 1969, and locations coast-to-coast, with operations about to launch in the US market.

The Position

This is a run/grow-the-business role — not a caretaker seat.

I’m looking for a growth‑minded General Manager, based in our local office (Coquitlam), who loves ownership, accountability, and execution!

We are pushing to be #1 in our system, and as such, you’ll own:

  • P&L, KPIs, and day‑to‑day execution
  • Recruitment, culture building and accountability across Operations and Commercial Sales
  • Safety and systems compliance
  • Setting clear priorities, making fast decisions, and achieving consistent results

The Role Details

The General Manager is an exceptionally talented individual who will lead the way as we work to aggressively grow this market. You’ll be owning all aspects of our operations;
Inc, building a team, finding new commercial customers, driving local residential guerilla marketing, and growing sales. You’re hungry to succeed and will do whatever it takes to make it. You’re organized and self‑disciplined with a willingness to take on big challenges.

KEY DUTIES
  • Leadership & Accountability: (EOS – Integrator Seat) Lead, manage, and hold accountability for the entire organization. Own Profit & Loss, business planning, and execution of company priorities. Set quarterly and annual goals (Rocks) and drive alignment through weekly meetings. Ensure role clarity, accountability, and alignment across departments
  • Business & Financial Performance: Full ownership of key metrics including Revenue, AJS, RPH, Profitability, Wage %, and Disposal Costs. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance plans. Use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • People & Culture: Build and lead a high‑performing team. Own employee engagement, retention, and development. Foster a positive, accountable, customer obsessed culture
  • Operations & Customer Engagement: Ensure operational excellence and consistent service delivery. Own escalated customer issues and overall Google Reviews and Net Promoter Score (NPS). Drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Sales & Growth: Own residential and commercial sales performance and pipeline growth. Support strategic partnerships and key accounts
