Overview

Warehouse – Supervisor, Operations. Natural Factors is a large Manufacturing company based in Coquitlam, with manufacturing and warehouse facilities across the Lower Mainland. We are looking for a Supervisor of Operations in our Warehouse in Coquitlam.

This is a new role, as we are adding a Supervisor to the afternoon shift. We are looking to tighten up on safety and improve on our employee training.

Permanent Full-Time (40 hours). Monday to Friday 4:00 pm – 12:30 am or 6:00 pm – 2:30 am (flexible).

• Supervise, direct, prioritize and coordinate activities related to the warehouse department, to maintain quality and maximize productivity while minimizing cost
• Support the team’s success by ensuring staff are properly trained, motivated and performing to the required standard, and provide recognition and feedback as appropriate
• Maintain a high level of integrity to ensure all staff are being treated on a fair and consistent basis
• Take initiative to implement process changes and ensure continuous improvement is embraced by all staff
• Ensure product is received, handled, stored and picked in a safe and timely manner to effectively fulfill Operations and Distribution requirements
• Coordinate with other supervisors and supporting departments to ensure continuous operations

• A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably a GMP facility
• Experience in operations management, business, engineering, supply chain management is an asset
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Share Point
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including pivot tables, formulas, and graphs
• Forklift and powered equipment experience is preferred; willingness and ability to complete forklift certification (training will be provided)
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to build a team, manage conflict and maintain strong employee relations
