About You / What We Are Looking For
The City of Coquitlam is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Parks Division as Regular Full-Time Utility Worker. As a valued team member, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the maintenance, repair, and enhancement of our city's beautiful parks and recreational spaces.
Reporting to our Parks Infrastructure Asset Coordinator, you will perform semi-skilled park facilities maintenance, repair, and construction work in this unionized position. This is a CUPE Local 386 position.
As a Utility Worker - Parks, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and installation of park features, including but not limited to:

Although subject to change based on operational needs, these positions will be scheduled to work Wednesday – Sunday and/or a Saturday-Wednesday work week, with Monday/Tuesday and/or Thursday/Friday off.

This CUPE position has an hourly rate of $36.08 (2025 rates). The rate of pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications, knowledge, experience and skills.
