Duration: 6 Months +
Rate: $110/hr - $130/hr (depending on experience)
ResponsibilitiesRole Overview
- The Workday Data Conversion Lead will be responsible for leading the end-to-end design, development, and execution of data conversions between Workday and the client’s legacy systems. This role requires strong leadership, deep Workday conversion expertise, and close collaboration with technical and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, secure, and timely data migration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, development, and implementation of data conversion activities between Workday and legacy systems, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security.
- Own and drive the overall data conversion strategy, including validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, resolve data conversion challenges, and deliver solutions aligned with project timelines.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership for Workday tenant builds and oversee their successful execution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to enable smooth transition to ongoing operations.
- Ensure adherence to Workday best practices, data governance standards, and compliance requirements across all conversion activities.
- Proven experience as a Workday Data Conversion Lead, with hands-on leadership in:
- Workday HCM and/or Financials data conversions
- Strong understanding of Workday architecture, data models, and integration frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex conversion initiatives and coordinate across multiple teams in a remote environment.
- We use AI-enabled tools to assist in screening applications based on job-related criteria.
