ABOUTTHE ROLE
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Medical Radiation Technologists to join our team in a part‑time position at Med Ray Imaging. The ideal candidate will have a background in General Radiography and a passion for delivering high‑quality patient care. Experience in Screening Mammography is a plus but not required. You will work closely with the Gen Rad Team and report directly to the Gen Rad Manager.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with Med Ray departmental protocol and standards, as well as the established standards and practices of the CAMRT and observing safe radiation protection practices.
- Performs related clinical duties and participates as a Gen Rad and Med Ray team member to ensure safe and efficient workflow and patient service.
- Receive and complete requisitions, enter relevant data into the radiology information system, operate computerized imaging equipment, archive acquired data, monitor patients during procedures, monitor equipment and maintain cleanliness of examination rooms.

You are a results‑oriented, self‑directed person who can work with minimal supervision.

- Advanced computer skills, experience with radiology applications such as PACS and RIS. (asset)
- High‑level understanding of medical imaging systems.
- Experience in a relevant clinical setting.
- Flexibility with days and hours of work, as they may change based on operational requirements.
- Strong expertise in General Radiography.
- Ability to perform Screening Mammography (training available).
- Effective communication skills to influence diverse audiences and build trust.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and diplomacy in all interactions.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Graduate of a recognized training program with current registration in the Canadian Association of Part‑Time Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
COMPENSATION- Annual incentive plan based on company performance.
